Very happy with my Van Horn 7mm TCU on my Encore, it is set up with factory wood and the barrel is 14 in. heavy taper
4x Leupold All are 3 shot groups with 120 gr Bal-Tip's @ 100yds.
19 Grs. IMR 4227 = 1.25 in.
20 Grs. " = 1.25 in.
21 Grs. " = .750 in.
That was the only powder suitable for the 7mm TCU that I had. Not sure of the velocity yet. Quality of the barrel was top notch. The laser engraved Ram on the top of the barrel was unexpected and a very nice touch. And I will buy my next barrel from Van Horn.
