MSSMagnum,

This should be alot of fun!

Printed out the target, and I must say that Rabbit is small! On my paper, it measures 14.5CM [5-7/8"] from tip of nose to tip of tail.

Is this right, or did I print it out on a smaller scale? It looks bigger on my screen than on my paper, as it fills more of the "white" than on my paper.

If we're trying to shoot groups, why are we shooting at a black rabbit?

I will use whatever folks decide upon, but I prefer this target for long range grouping:

And it and other good targets may be found here:

If we're trying to shoot groups.. any target, or no target at all, should do. No?

I'll glady shoot at that target... but if your just going to measure group size, I sure as heck wont be shooting at the black part.

The target may not be the problem, nobody's holden a gun to your head to shoot it. If I get a job I may mot be able to shoot it now thats a problem.

I've shot so many times at that rabbit in the past it will be great to go back up against an old adversary. Now are we following the same rules, head shots @ 100 and the body @ 200. Not like I can hit it consistently. [Big Grin]

Take care,

Size is fun too... print out targets need a size key to compair with. Like a one inch mark, so when you print it out you can make sure it's one inch. Last match I was in I was given the target by someone else. It was only after the results were in did I learn my targets (grid) were 1/4" too small. Doh! No matter....

I don't see me being able to shoot it. My current shooting schedual has been once every 3-4 weeks. I've 3 barrels that would do for the match. One i haven't fired in 3 years. One I just put a giant rifle scope on to find out of my problem is barrel or scope. (That hardly counts.) And the other, I have 4 pieces of formed brass for. I don't see me getting it done. Hmmm... I'll try though.

I won't be able to shoot since I am getting ready to move To Kansas in the next 5 weeks. I cleaned my garage this morning-what a mess. I do plan to get some shhoting in before I move, but I doubt it will be competitive.
xphunter

Now I just need to sell my big safe-to big and heavy to move.
