PLEASE!!! Someone take down my email and send me a note when you buy 'em! I STILL need a CHEAP carbine set (or would love to trade someone a 7TCU barrel for a set)...

I would be willing to take a couple of the custom contender grips. I could have VV Mark make me forends to match.

J,

Did they sell blems normally or is this the way they liquidate them.

Shame they didn't offer them on a piece by piece basis.

Regards

Most of the time Dave will let me know when he has stuff that has to go, but he also knows how picky I am. I sent him an email about this stuff. I didn't even know they had blems. But if most of this stuff just needs to be refinished, it's one hell of a deal. Most of the Encore stocks alone would go for well over $200.00 each.

Howdy Fellas,
I guess I can clarify on some of this stuff. The work needed to fix these stock and grips is not that much. After all it is mostly cosmetic. The problem is the time. For a company such as our the time involved in fixing these would not be worthe the final dollar when we could be making full priced stocks.
As an example the encore grips have the aluminum bedding block installed. When the grips were being fitted with the bedding block or were bing milled out the wood on the grip cracked. This can be repaired, but visibly cannot be sold as new.
Some of the Encore buttstocks were sold as semi-finished then sold. The customer then finished the stock, but later was returned for who knows what reason. I cannot sell the stock as new, nor is it worth it to have someone as paid to refinsih them to sell at discount prices. thus this leaves the following auction. I decied to sell the bulk lot as I do not have a lot of time to spend selling at the moment. Maybe later I will sell ones and twos.
i hope that may clarify a little bit. Only cleaning out the closet and making room to expand inside our shop.
Dave
