Are they all interchangable?
I got a newer frame recently and the "switch" on top of the hammer takes care of all positions including "safe". It would be nice to have the same hammer on my frames. Forgot to switch hammer from rim to centerfire ( never had a rimfire barrel before) yesterday and freaked thinking the gun was dead when the primer was unmarked.

I assume installation is, pull the pin like new hammer spring installation, but drop in a complete hammer.

Anyone out there buy a new one recently . . . just wondering about cost.

I if the old style with the slot in the front will
switch i'll take 3 if you can find them. These little pins falling out and there are no replacements at tca [they told me so{ is a real pain in the shorts.
