I got kicked off his site just because, I belong to another site.Last time I checked I live in the USA I PM'ed some guys to check out the new talk forum and he cut off my PM use.He told me that it seem's that you found another site why don't you just leave.I gave him and one of his moderators a few kind words and told them I would not be on their site again.

I'm not really surprised by that. One more fish asked to leave the pond. Well you have to wonder why something like posting on another site would annoy him so much. Insecurity I guess.
Well welcome to the ocean there's a whole world out there!

Welcome to the elite club of people that have been kicked off of numbnuts (greybeard) website. It really doesn't take much other then to not agree with his nazi type attitude and ways.
Hell, I was a moderator on one of "The Twinkie Kings" forums. Apparently he reads everyones private messages and he got into a whizzing contest with the moderator of his second most popular forum and kicked him and a bunch of the regulars off..... The moderator and several of the other regulars established a new forum on another site..... I went there and I was kicked off of GBs and blocked from his site, can you spell paranoid?
Does he still have a forum? I figured by now he would be talking to himself. Wonder what ever happened to that boy of his? Seems like he popped in here for 'knowledge' and then sorta kinda disappeared. HMMMM??
Oh Well we're doing fine here, welcome to the club T/C Nut you are now among the choosen ones, swim about AND speak freely. The Ol gray fish is gone.

Many years ago, back before the "Greybeard outdoors", even back before the first Bravenet version of his board, back in the early days of H.I.S., Bill seemed like a nice honest guy, with a level head. He hasn't seemed like that for a long loooong time, and that's too bad. I did stop over at the "pond" a few weeks ago for the first time in a year or so. Was shocked at all the forums and laughed my ass off that I couldn't even READ some of them because I wasn't a member.

I must be one of the choosen few. I had a disagreement with him a couple years ago concerning my abilities with a Handgun. He took exception to my posting of taking a Whitetail with a 10" 7-30 Waters Contender at a range he considered to be to far and as such it must have been unsportsmanlike.
I did not get into it on the forum with him, but rather choose to e-mail him directly. After a few exchanges in which I detailed my practice regimine every year, the number of rounds I fire in a normal year, and at what distances I practice the waters calmed. I did not get an appology nor did I get banned. I never really did figure out why.
I lost a lot of respect for him in judging me (a person that he has never met or shot with) and only stop buy there when I am bored.
There are a lot of other sites I frequent every single day (in addition to this one), so I am not out anything.
I used to visit the cast bullet forum there and answered a post asking where to get cast bullets. I posted my opinion and was promptly told that SO and so's bullets were better and so and so was also a supporter of Greybeards.
He is a pompus ass as others have stated!!!

I will no doubt offend some folks here who use SSK products, but what I smelled at the pond was the same essence that came rolling down the aisles of practically every gun show ahead of the SSK advocates I met face to face. I got to where I could smell 'em coming with a fair degree of reliability.
The essence is pumped up machoism devoid of much understanding or independent, analytical thinking. It reeks of mystical powers associated to the very names of basic things.... things copied from someone else and claimed to be original to SSK. If this offends you, I can put together a little test to prove the point. I anticipate about an 80% failure rate, btw.
The big frog has his nose firmly planted you know where with SSK.... so what do you expect?
Want to get thrown out of the pond even faster? Just use the word "Bellm" in any post you make. It gets bleeped out automatically, and if you are the least bit peristent, you are banished.
BUT.... show me one website anywhere that has the technical content you find on www.bellmtcs.com in support of the Contender and Encore systems, not TC's barrels, but the systems and the PEOPLE who use the systems. And the funny thing is that I get some personal attacks, but am virtually unchallenged on the technical material presented.
I have had some folks who know the frog well tell me enough to underscore what you observe at the pond. Regarding the person it is not very complimentary.
There are plenty of places to meet with Contender & Encore shooters besides the pond. It is no loss, I assure you. Kick the dust off your feet and move ahead. Or, scrape the pond scum off your feet, as the case may be.

I admit to visiting the pond on a regular basis. Questions and answers are more serious as long as GB does not provide a bias answer or three bags full advice. To GB's credit, his classified section has historically been one of the better for T/C related items.
This forum gets the best award for forum politics, show and tell, and just plan old I haven't heard from you in awhile. Think I am kidding just look at the last 10-20 threads.
Tootin' My Own Horn? You are darned right, and proud of it!
There is quite a schism among TC shooters, and GBO is the catalyst that keeps the reaction going, but actions speak louder than words, and I think what I am doing speaks well for itself.
Just got an email from another who has been banned from GBO for his association with me.
In the past, I have had dealers who dealt heavily in TC stuff tell me that TC would probably cut them off if they knew they were even talking to me.
All I can see is there IS a difference, and VIVA LA DIFFERENCE!

My guess is it's meplat's post up there. A big graphic will do that. This version of ubb doesn't appear to chop words in half. If someone types in a word longer than the standard window is wide, ubb adjusts the window size and gives you a wonderful horizontal slider thingy so you can read meplat's whole post.

If meplat would use the "edit" feature and break up those long words into line-width pieces like they did back in the days of typewriters, I predict that the screen would shrink to normal size, and the posts would become readable. Just a guess.

Yeah, why do the lines run off into the ether on the right side of the screen? It's annoying to have to scroll over to read some of this drivel. And what's so wrong about posting on other boards; I'm on about 6 of them, all under rootbeer. Some people take it too seriously. This is the internet-- nothing you read here is to be taken as gospel. Yeesh!

In all species there is a reason for everthing. If not God wouldn't have created them. Calmountman I have compasion for you even if you are a bottom feeder. But, thank you for your post anyhow. Maybe you can somehow come up from the bottom and join mankind. Have a great day now. MePlat
I'm doomed!! I just cornered the poor man with his own rules. He had a few posts regarding signs of pressure that were ok, but not complete. What was missing was a whole slew of facts - I called him on it. (Hope I've learned something over the last few months)
Just curious what will come out of it - he slapped a few fingers recently for posting personnal ideas that weren't factual - I thought that was the whole purpose behind a forum. The facts are just a bonus.

He sure did dint he lol.... I really cant understand how he can say that a flat primer is NOT a sign of high pressure I think that is the first time I ever heard anyone sayin that... I can understand that its not ALWAYS a sign of high pressure but it IS a sign.. I kinda giggle at the fact the he took time to delete your post but wouldnt take the time to tell me why in that example I used that its NOT a sign of HIGH pressure... Am I the crazy on for thinking this?? I think NOT... Now I have to agree he left out lots of facts in his posts and i disagree on his velocity theory as well there is just to many varibles to go 100% by the book... Ooo and Grizz is me incase you are wandering lol.....
When I first registered at the pond, he and I had a few run-ins. He would attack about every post I had, he backed off when I could "verify" everything I was posting. Guess I'll have to go into lurk mode for awhile again.
Caught the login when you mentioned the primer appearance - small world isn't it?

Food For Thought: When a person has their mind made up, especially a stubborn person, regardless if they are wrong or partially wrong all you will usually end up accomplishing is confusing them with the facts. All of us make mistakes and give bad answers at times. It is the wise man that is humble enough to admit when he is wrong and then be willing to learn from others. Some folks are slow learners & some never change. Pride and or fear probably set us all back more than we would like to admit.
A wise man once said this about a fool: "A fool finds no pleasure in understanding but delights in airing his own opinions." "A fool shows his annoyance at once, but a prudent man overlooks an insult."
We all have probably taken a few steps in the fools shoes. The key is to not making it a way of life.

I agree with that 100%.. But sometimes even when I know for a fact im right I find myself still second guessing myself... I have been worng before and will be again.. Im not ashamed to admit when im wrong I just chalk it up as a learning experaince..
