Bob-Although those are certainly commendable groups Junior recorded, there's not much of a trick to doing so with a low-powered scope as long as you have an appropriate target. An improper target can change a sub-MOA performer into a 2-inch gun in a hurry.

Thanks, xp. You'd be surprised what caffeine will do to group shooting AND pool shooting. For example, if I drink tea with lunch I can forget about shooting good groups that early afternoon and winning pool games that late afternoon. The needed muscle coordination and relaxation just won't be there.

My best groups come in that lethargic state of mind and body after an afternoon nap. And after the effects of my morning coffee have long dissipated.

The 150 yard 15/16" 5-shot group was shot into a B-8C(P) 25 yard pistol target with a 5 1/2" bullseye. Below is the target I normally used until I got lazy and started using the factory-made B-8C(P) targets. It shows a 150 yard 2" 5-shot group. I placed the black squares far enough apart that I could see slivers of white at the edges of the 4x scope's crosshairs. The 15/16" rounds were seated with a micrometer, inline benchrest die; the rounds in this 2" group were seated with a regular die.

Junior, I too love the 7mm TCU!

PITA to reload! But well worth the effort!

I had a beat up used 10" bull barrel that shot like a champ for years. It looked like crap so I traded it off and bought a new 14" bull barrel. Although the 14" shoots pretty good, the 10" actually shot better. I'm sorry I every traded it off.
