Has anyone run into this problem? This is a broken locking bolt from a 15" Encore barrel.Looks like a bad casting to me. It's on a friend's pistol he called T/C and they told him to mail bolt back and they would replace it. I was just curious if this had happened to any other Encore shooters.
It happened to me too , but mine was a custom .35 Whelen Imp. barrel from Bullberry , happened after the 30th shot or so and locked my gun (ruined my evening as well)!
I see that you are in Germany I was just curious as to how you handled the broken bolt.Did Bulberry take care of it or did you handle it a different way.

I politely asked Fred Smith to replace it ! He mentioned something about .......mumble , mumble $$$$$$ ! I received the parcel without an invoice though ! Took about 2 weeks all in all , pretty much what I expect for a custom made barrel that cost me quite a few $ ! So far I have nothing wrong to say about Bullberryand the service !
