Will get better day by day with more members. Will try to frequent the site and help keep it moving. Nice to have a site for us crazy handcannon shooters.

HEY GUY'S,WHAT DID I MISS.I GUESS I AM NOT CRAZY ENOUGH TO BE PART OF THIS WELL OK THEN FINE.

ERNIE,FIFTY I HAVE TO TAKE A WEEK VACTION IN THE SUMMER USUALLY I AM AT THE RANGE MOST OF THAT WEEK IF NOT TO HOT.I USUALLY TAKE OFF THE WEEK OF JULY 4.JUST WONDERED WHAT KINDA VACTION YOU GUYS HAVE AND MAYBE SET SOMETHING UP FOR THE FUTURE TO MEET AND SHOOT SOME STEEL,AND SOME BULL.JUST THROWING IT OUT THERE TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS.

Handcannons,

Well, good to hear from you. How has life been treating you these days?

Been working harder then H___! tryng to get the shop up and running.

Finally got things ready to move the machines in and had a major accident with the Lathe. One of the jacks we were using to lower it on the support pads let loose and 5200 lbs of lathe was on its face.

It took several hours and a front loader to get her upright and to my suprise, things didn't look all that bad. There are several dial and switches that have to be replaced but everything turns easily and the centers still zeroed pretty close.

Have to go in today to pick up my mill and will get some measuring equipment to check the lathe. To say the least I am sick about the situation. Hopefully it will all work out.

Seems with the problems and set backs I have had with starting this shop, someone does not want me to be a smith. Good thing I am hard headed and don't listen to such silly warnings.

Anyway, all the replacement parts have been submitted to the manufacturer and they will get back to me with the damage hopefully soon.

My vacation as of late has been very limited and with getting the shop off the ground, hopefully I will be busier then I know what to do with.

Would be nice to meet you fellas and throw some led. If you plan anything, please let me know and I will see if I can get away. Always up for good shooting with good guys or galls.

If I can take time off it will likely be to help with the Bower LR handgun clinic. LR shooting, lots of steel targets out to 1,000 yards. Plan to do bench shooting and field shooting (field positions) out to a 1,000 if so desired. Dates haven't been set yet, but we have tried to do the clinic in May through mid june. Of course this past summer it was the second week in July. I would like to get together some time.
