Does anyone remember what TRCUDA (I think it was him that put it together) charged for the custom RCBS dies and 200 rounds of brass?

I don't remember exactly either but I think that the dies were around $45 and the brass was $13 per 100.

Tim, I think the brass was $15.

Later this winter I would entertain a project like that again if you want.

I do have a pile of .223 Rem. Imp. dies on hand from CH-4D..... about 8 sets left I think that are not on hold for someone.

Next go around like that, I would like to work with Redding, I believe. RCBS could have done better than they did. First indications from the CH dies is good, but they are as slow delivering as I am! Takes most of a year to get dies run by them.

Sounds like fun! I have an extra set of the RCBS dies still and a couple of 22 cal bbls that could be rechambered. I don't know about the availability of the brass though. I will do some checking on brass.

On a one shot deal for the brass, I could use my source perhaps. I would not want to make a habit of it, but he would probably work with me once in awhile. Let me know what you come up with.

The TC-List deal we put together was a pretty sweet one.

Besides being economically rewarding for all, it gave me an unusual opportunity to study all sorts of .22 cal. barrels. I learned quite alot from it, myself, from the technical end. As with the .308 Bellm rechambers not long ago, the numbers and types of barrels done at one time give a better picture of what is out there. Definite trends do appear more readily when working on just one thing over a large number of barrels.
