That is truly sad to hear. I was ordering some 7mm US brass from Eben Brown (eabco.com) a few days earlier and, just out of curiosity, asked what the current turnaround on Contender barrels was since I was aware of the Virgin Valley situation and that VVCG did much of Brown's work.

The lady informed me that there would be indefinite delays and the their company is now in the process of tooling up to do the job themselves. I am curious to see what the delay will be and what quality will be turned out early on before the bugs are worked out.

I was wanting either a 6.5mm or 7mm BRM in a 24-26" barrel but think I will hold off for now.
