Well depends on what you call success. I was in the woods all weekend with good friends, warm camp fire, plenty of stories from past years and saw some game.I never fired a shot but I had a great hunt.

Dennis Yes, my son took a spike on Saturday afternoon. He had passed on two other small bucks and a few does looking for a big boy, but by Saturday afternoon he had decided to take the next deer of decent size that walked out. I swear, that little buck weighed 800 pounds by the time we got him back to the truck! We were hunting down in a hollow and it was about 3/4 mile back to the truck......we had a deer cart or I don't think we would have made it!

Wheelgun101 - No problem I'm happy to hear about anyone's trips. Not firing a shot doesn't necessarily make for a bad hunt, some of my happiest trips have been when we got skunked. GonHuntin - Congrats to you and your son. Great picture but next time tell your son to smile just a little bit Dennis
