Thinking about getting a Competitor...

I've owned various Contenders in the past but have never owned a Competitor. I am familiar with them as I have shot GonHuntin's pistols. I'm looking at getting a small, medium and large bore...say, a 17, 260 & 375. I have numerous premium bullets on hand for the 260 and 375. I'm not afraid of wildcats and have considered the 375 JRS.

Does anyone have anything available for sale/trade? Any comments or recommendations?

Do it, now!!! I've got plenty of Contenders and Encores and recently got my first Competitor from mssmagnum, in 7 TCU. Liked it so much that I got a second in 444 Marlin, and just got a great deal on 2 more. A 22-250 AI and a 40-65 WCF. The adjustable trigger just makes it so much nicer than the Lone Eagle, plus over 400 different barrels are available. Start your obsession.

I bought my first Competitor around 1987. It was in .284 Win. They did not have addjustible triggers back then. I preffer Competitors to Encores and Contenders as I have all three. My favorite barrel is my 358 Norma.
