Mike - I was checking out my need for an oversized pin in my Contender frames when..... ........ the front pin for the trigger assembly on one frame fell out! This frame has been used for a .22 Match barrel only for years and I'm still tickled w/ the accuracy. However this can't be good.....I'm talkin'loose...like drop straight through loose (w/a little help)! Any suggestions, or nothing to worry about? No other frames I own have this "freedom of movement" in that front pin.

...... and what, a Pino wine to go with the cheese and crackers? Sounds good to me. What to say? TCs are great guns. I love the system, but it is only a platform from which to work. It leaves a lot of room for improvement. And in a phone discussion this morning, one of the points was in regard to how little is actually understood about these guns, even by the folks who sell them and guys who call themselves gunsmiths, which I am not. Specifically, what we were talking about is how slop at the hinge pin also relates to barrel lockup. To make it fit or let it shake and rattle.... it's your call. But the price of the pin and postage makes it one of the safest bets you will make. And if the .3752" pins aren't large enough, I do keep .376" pins on hand. www.bellmtcs.com takes you to my main site and a detailed discussion of oversize hinge pins. Follow the red "Bellm Store" button on the Home page to order online or by snail mail. Mike
