Jules, I use JB's because that is what my smith recommends and it works. He is both a smith and a competitor @ 1,000 yard. His judgement has been on the mark in the past. I have even stopped using bronze brushes in my bore. From what I am learning we probably harm our barrels more by the way we clean them than anything else. xphunter

Jules when I work over at Chesapeake Gun Works Jurel would only let us use JB paste on the bores if we were cleaning the bbl for a customer,he said it was the best stuff going and have used it for years.

It doesnt matter as long as the grit is the same. In my experience, they are essentially the same thing.

Dave, I've been to Chesapeake Gun Works quite a few times and have met Jurel. I can't remember you though. I live only a couple miles from there. |

Never used USB, so can't comment on it. I've had the same jar of JB for several years, and will just get another when I run out.
