Looking for some loading information for a 500 S&W 15" Encore using Rainier 335gr,HP copper plated lead bullets.

I've loaded Copper Plated 325 Gr. bullets from Berry's Manufacturing in my Magnum Research BFR in .500 S&W Mag. with 15.0 Gr. of Unique for right around 1,200 FPS. Don't drive plated slugs any faster than 1,200 to 1,300 FPS or you will encounter problems with the plating stripping off causing fouling issues and poor accuracy. If you keep the velocity down they are good bullets, but they're not for high performance work. Bill T.
