Fellas I stopped by after work to shoot the breeze with Ed and he reminded me that he'll be out of pocket all next week.

We'll be doing a gun show this weekend in Okla. City and then early Monday he's heading back east to spend a week at the TC factory and he won't return till late Friday evening Jan. 10th.

Just wanted to let everyone know so you'll realize why your calls and emails won't get answered for awhile.

Ike,

Thanks for the heads up! Tell Ed while he is there to kick the decision makers at T/C in the seat of the pants for not coming up with the G2 Contender replacement after two years of having discontinued the original! [Big Grin]

If they do not get things straightened out PDQ and come up with a frame, ideas such as the new Mauser - Blazer switch barrel bolt gun will overtake them and perhaps grab the growing number of unhappy folks out here [Eek!]

Mauser Blazer switch barrel bolt action ?

How did I miss the conversation on that ?

I like my breakover single shot handguns but I'm also a sucker for a bolt action pistol.

Tell me more Sean !

Ike,

Look to the last page article in the last HHI sixgunner: JD did a writeup of this pistol. Very interesting indeed [Big Grin]

It is a Mauser - Blazer straight pull bolt action switch barrel rear grip pistol.

Ike,

I am going to try to make it to the OKC show this weekend. What is the best route to get there, I will be coming down the Turner Turnpike from Tulsa.

Thanks
Dennis

Dennis,

Just take I-40 West to the May Ave. exit, and hang a right (north) on May Ave.

Go to the second stoplight (the 1st light will be Reno) and turn left (west) into the OKC Fairgrounds.

Go less than 2/10ths of a mile and you'll see a big long building on your right that runs east and west with a huge parking lot that will hopefully be full of cars, that's were we'll be.

When you come in come on over to Ed's tables and say howdy.....I ain't hard to miss, I'll be the 6'5" 285lb big purty fella. <smile>
