I've got an XP100 that I haven't shot in many years. Last time I used it was in the IHMSA Internationals in Phoenix back in the '80s. It has a benchrest quality Wiseman barrel and was built by Frank Scotto. It's currently on the original stock which has been cut down. It has Ironsite Gunworks rear sight and hooded front. It also has a new thumbhole stock (Claro Walnut) that has never been inletted for it, and a Mc Millan stock, also not set up for the gun. Unfortunately, I live in Massachusetts, and can never replace this gun if I sell it due to current laws, but I have been thinking of selling it anyways. Can some of you please let me know what this package is worth ??? I also still have the original barrel for it. I was thinking something around $1250. Should I ask more or less than this if I decide to sell ??? TIA.

Hi;

If you just need the money sale the two stocks and keep the XP for a future project.

I would say your set is a little over priced.

XP action $250 to $350 plus your barrel(I have bought a action for $185) don't know if it is a bull barrel blued or SS and if it a good company would make a lot of differnce.No dies or brass or optics.

Your thumbhole if it is a real nice piece of wood then $250 just plain around $175 or so.

McMillian new I think they are $175 maybe higher now it has been a few years since I have talked to them.Used sometimes $125 on up.

You are little high but I don't know what it is worth to you.I hope I have not made you mad.

Since you will not get another one sell the stocks(I would be interested in the stocks)for cash and keep the action to build what ever you want later.

I have 5 of these damn things I have seen a SSK with dies,optics,brass,mount old barrel and stock go for $1000 this was a chromed action with a action job also.

My custom SSK XP cost $1100 plus the action that I paid $200 for.

I hope I did not make you mad if you hace questions let me know.
