Three years ago I bought a new factory 44 mag barrel and it came with only one front sight screw. Didn't matter at the time, I removed the sight to scope it. I'm gonna switch it back to iron sights now. Anybody got an extra front sight screw that I could have? I'd be glad to mail you a S.A.S.E to get it here.
Thanks in advance.

Call T/C, I can almost gurantee you they'll send you one, if not several for free.
I purchased on old single bolt barrel 357 harrett tube, and called t/c to get a new split bolt. I also mentioned I was looking to get another older style barrel at the time. They sent me two pairs of bolts in std, oversize and double oversize (6 bolts) and a set of the springs and plungers, all for free.

The last couple of times they have not been very generous. I wanted some screw blinds for my front sights and a set of split lugs cost me a few dollars but still OK with me. Jeff

As you spoke of screw blinds, a neat trick is to drop a lead shot, 7 1/2 in my case, in the screw hole first. This allows you to keep them reasonably flush with the surface of the barrel. The shot will adjust/squeeze some to keep the screw snug also.
Headstamp, thanks for the tip. IHMSA rules say that any unused screw holes are to be filled. I don't think they specified how or what, will give it a try. Jeff
