This is really going to be alot of fun. Shame there aren't more folks going. Meeting Magnum, Jim, RJ and MBM Mike is gonna be a blast. And to think that MBM Mike is gonna donate that beautiful RamPro To the person with the best 5 shot group at 200yds for the weekend is just unbelievable! I gotta tell ya'll, Mike is an OK guy by me.
Tom Maxwell, Ya gotta try and make that trip.

This is going to be the HIGHLY INFORMAL "Eastern Long Range Shooting Clinic". Our host is JULES! [Big Grin] We are gonna learn how to stand up and shoot (offhand, one handed) such caliber as 444 Marlin and 405 Winchester without the aide of shooting gloves, etc... at least out to ranges of 50 yards. [Wink] Jules, due to his personal kinship with the owner, has also promised a tour of SSK Industries on saturday with UNLIMITED ACCESS to the facilities. LOL!! [Razz] [Big Grin]

This is the deal guys.
I am taking my wife to her moms from June 19-22 to visit in Fayette Co. Pa.{I lived there for the first 32 years of my life}
It just so happens that Magnum and Jim live about 120 miles from there in Grove City. And It just so happens that MBM Mike will also be in the area for the weekend. We planed this trip a few months ago.
RJ and I was pose to get together in April and spend a few days at my hunt club here in Va. but he couldn't make it cause of work. But he will be able to make the trip to Pa.
We will be stayin at a flophouse in Grove City all weekend and doing our shooting at Jim's range behind his house. We have been wanting to get together and since I couldn't make the trip to Jim and Mags last year, I won't miss this one. If your wanting to make the trip to Grove City just let us know. I can't see where the Motel rooms will be filled up on that weekend in GROVE CITY LOL!
BTW, what the hell is in Grove City anyway? [Big Grin]
I mean......It ain't Va. Beach [Wink]
This is just a weekend of informal shooting and get together.

OH! BTW, No matter who shows up I get first pick of the dancers [Big Grin]

Bummer Jules, I am in the area June 1-8. I grew up in Washington PA, BTW, who would ever want to take someone they loved to Fayette Cty! [Big Grin]

I used to work for a company who's address was Belle Vernon although they were on the Charleroi side of the river. My area included California. It ended at the river. Remember Powell's Texaco, he was one of my accounts. This was the early 80s

The memory has fogged over a bit but I believe it was George Powell. His brother worked for the company I worked for (Guttman Oil Co.) and I think his name was Jerry.

Wasn't there a ferry that ran right there too?

Yes there was a ferry but it shut down back in the late 60s,long before I moved to Va. That was one of my best catfish and Musky holes [Wink]
