| Geeze Boddy, don't know what to tell you, well except that sucks. In all of the dealings I have done on the various forums I have never had such a thing happen (thank goodness), but it is something that is always in the back of my mind.
Sure hope everything turns out the way you want it to.

| Tiome to send the email that says the postal inspector will notified TODAY. He can then explain to them that he has misused their postal money order. That is the big advantage of USPS PO over any other form of payment. |

| Call me lucky but of the hundreds of little deals I have worked with off of forums like this one.....not one time has the deal went bad. Damn shame when I hear others haven't been so fortunate. Glad it worked out Bobby..... |

Well, you guys won't believe this. I wanted to find out if this was a legitimate residential address or what, so I called the Crestview, FL police department. The lady who answered the phone told me, without hesitation, that it was a residential address. She then asked as to why I wanted to know because it was HER address! What odds for that...she was the wife of the guy who listed the barrel.
I gave her the details, and I now have the returned money order in hand. Today, I also received an e-mail from the gentleman with an apology.
Now THAT is really unusual, and really good for you!!!
I am glad your you Bobby: Wonder what are the odd's of such a turn of events??? |
