Got the online store online this evening.

Steve does not have the links up yet, but the url below gets you into the store itself.

Sure will be a lot easier than the old way we did things. Now you can point and click and Pay Pal sends me the invoice, presto.

I'll do more pix as I find the round tuits. Meanwhile, there is a .22 Mag. and another .22 of some sort waiting for rechambering in the shop. That is next up. Then there are muzzle brakes.

That is the tentative work agenda.

As a guesstimation, the total number of jobs on hand now is about 12 to 15 max. Shooting for "0" backlog.

You saw it first right here, first after 1buba that is.

One other thing.

The formatted program for the store had fleurs in the image windows, and I neglected to "uncheck" them on some of the pages.

If you find any fleurs, no, I don't have any to sell, not even Dee's bromeliads. But I would appreciate a heads up if I missed hiding them. Let me know what page they turn up on, if any.

Thanks,
Mike

Maybe we will start seeing racoon penis bones in your store! Lets see, you could use it to pick out powder residue in an action, use it to hold in a spring or two.... [Big Grin] [Big Grin] [Big Grin] [Big Grin] [Big Grin]

You do have a surplus of moles in your garden: perhaps mole penis bones would sell better?

Matter of fact Sean, the dogs spooked a coon up a tree across the fence from our back yard a few days ago, but I couldn't tell you if it was packing a toothpick or not. Didn't get to lift its tail.

Trouble with moles may be like mothballs..... finding the little things and getting them to hold still long enough to collect 'em.

Two guys, a pan, and a razor blade works fine on pigs though. Wouldn't take long for me to get back into practice, but as much as I like them, I'd eat up all the profits, so no oysters on the store either. Sorry.

Guess I'll just stick to TC stuff and proctology tools for barrels.... chamber reamers.

Mike,
Looks good. I've been working on one of these for some time now and can appreciate the time you put into that store.
Good Luck! I'm sure it will do well

The way these local boys at the server have it set up, this store program is quite easy to work with.

1buba is my webmaster on the main site because ole dummy here had not flattened the learning curve enough to stay out of trouble doing it himself. But the store program's format is really pretty fool proof and easy.

I don't know what they plan to do with the program other than offer it as a feature on their webhosting, but I think it would be a good alternative to auctions and paid classifieds for individuals or groups with "things and stuff" to sell once they had a "draw" or were well represented with the search engines. It has a lot of potential.

But what I don't know is how they would handle toll charges for subscribers out of the area that had to call long distance to get on line for doing the editing. Haven't talked to them about that.

1buba has a link on the main site's home page now, reaffirming his Prince or at least White Knight status. Thanks again, Steve.

Paul, Wes, thanks for the good words.

Wes, You might want to take a look at this for your biz. Let me know, and I'll put you in touch with the server. May be that an 800 number or off peak minutes on a long distance service would make this viable inspite of toll charges.

Really is slick to work with. Even I can do it!

Nice pages! Your just teasing the hell out of us with that mention of Encore Barrels......like Sean says I'm liable to see small animal anatomy on sale there before an encore barrel. I can wait though!

Sorry, Dave, but Encore barrels will be quite some time in the future. Contenders, yes. I am set up for that, but no Encore fixtures yet. Too much fun, so little time.

Just talked to the server and they DO host nationwide afterall.... I did not know.

You can use a toll free number direct or use FTP connections online via your own server.

However, the store itself must be on their server. You can set up a website with them, or simply link to your store on their server from your own site if you have one already.

Let me know if you are interested in a store for yourself, and I will put you in touch with them.

The store was as exciting as a new barrel to play with!

Thanks, guys.

The "store" should make things go much easier on the accessories end.

BTW, I found out today that the server has a toll free number and it can also be accessed via FTP connection from one's local server. So anyone, anywhere can use it, but they must have a site hosted with this local server. They are controlling the store program very tightly.

Coon Bone.... give me a few days to clean up some other odds and ends, and I may just surprise you. Hopefully, it will be before next Tues. Family is flying in for a few days, so most of next week will be a wash.

But after some ocean air and a resupply of seafood, I'll have my batteries recharged and ready when I get back.

Did you get that coon bone or not?

Mike

[Big Grin] Now that sounds great Mike. That will give me a couple of weeks to work up some loads and maybe harvest a deer or 2 or 3 this year [Wink]

Now that you mention batteries.....
After Frances and I had closer observation of the Coon Bone Penis,...I....she....we could not figure out how to install the batteries [Frown] There for we did not make the purchase. [Razz] [Big Grin] [Razz]
