Sounds like an awesome set-up. I used to shoot a FA 454 7.5 Field Grade with 300 grainers @ 1775, but you guys are fun to read about. 460 grain bullets I just never got into the big bore stuff. I sure know who to talk to if I ever get interested in them again.
I realize you can take about anything that walks with these cartridges, but do you guys consider practical field distances for hunting? I understand distances may be further with an optic, so give me either or both.
Also, what kind of field rests work best with revolvers?
