Anybody ever load a spitzer into a .375 WIN. for a single shot pistol? How are the downrange ballistics?

My 12" 375 Hunter Barrel shoots the 225 SP Hornady pretty well, but likes the 220 FP better. The 375 JDJ likes the 225 SP better than the 220 FP. I haven't tried taken any game with either pistol, so I can't comment on the terminal performance.

I have a 375 Winchester super 14 for my contender and it loves the 220's. I took a white tail with it at 179yds off of Shooting sticks and the deer didnt know what hit him.
375 is a great round, I have it in my Contender and in a Winchester 94, Pre safety.
Great caliber with lots of power at reasonable ranges
