Outstanding info. Thanks for sharing about you and your son. Glad it was a good season for you. Mine has been great also. Between me and my 10 yr old son and 15 yr old daughter we have take 2 cows and one bull, and 2-bucks all with handguns. I shot a cow elk in Colorado and a buck--kids did the rest.

While I had an extreamly short season this year, I did have a chance to go out hunting with my 13 year old son. I only wish he'd have a chance to see something to make it better for him. At least I got to spend time with him!

Gary, I'd guessed you to be a physician as well. The focus on the effects of the wounds was a clue. However, I've never seen the word "distal", outside of medical texts - that gave it away. Now to guess your specialization...
