Went to the range today to give my handi-rifle one last chance (failed miserably yet again)and had thrown my Savage Striker .22lr in the bag for something to do while the rifle cooled down.
anaged to shoot one 5 shot group at 50 yrds with 4 shots touching and one flier about an inch out. That was with cheapo CCI Blaser ammo. no group went over 1.5 inches. Tried it at 100yrds, but the groups open up to around 3.5 inches. That .17HMR for $200 gets more tempting all the time.

While I don't have any experience with the 22 Striker, if they are anything like the centerfire Strikers, they are definately keepers. My 308 Striker is one of the most accurate guns, rifle or handguns that I have EVER owned. Easily 1 1/4" at 100 yards all day long, and I am not an expert handgun shot, by any means. [Big Grin]

Is the Striker still being made? I thought I read on here somewhere quite a while ago that they were out of production (which usually happens to something people really like). [Roll Eyes]
