My daughter shot her MOA Maximum in 260 Remington last Tuesday at a 100 yard indoor range for the first time (She has been hunting with a 7BR XP-100 previously). After shooting it 10 or so times with 8 of the ten shots going in just under an inch and half (she jerked the trigger on a couple shots), we put up a new target. Her first three shots were under a half inch. I felt sorry for the men there shooting their hunting rifles, since her agg group was better than most.
But I sure was proud for her. I must confess I had a hard time getting my "big head" out the range door. Now If I can get her on a deer the next week or so.

Xphunter,

Congrats, her fine markmenship is an indication of not only top quality equipment but also a very competent teacher.

Tell her congrats and good luck on her hunt.

My wife just harvested a very nice 4x4 whitetail this morning. She prefers rifles as she feels more confident with them, nomatter the weapon, it is always extememly excited and fofilling for us.

Again congrats and good luck on smacking a monster of a deer.

Congrats on your daughters Marksmanship. Congrats to you for teaching her to shoot properly. Our sons & daughters are our future. As long as we teach them how to shoot properly & safely we have a chance to keep the shooting sports alive in the future. They are our most important resource.
