Work, work, work to little time to surf the net.

Still trying to find time to reload for the local Silly Wets match. I've been out to try a couple of new to me barrels but the darn heat is tough.

Stay cool,

Hopefully this weekend I'll get to do some shooting. Just can't seem to find much time anymore though! I'm still fine tuning my .308 Bellm load for the upcoming Mule Deer hunt.

And soon I have a .358 Bellm that will be here! Oh Boy!! [Big Grin]

Same here Yote. It's not 100 but with the temps around 90 and the humidity at 80%+ it's like being in the tropics and just not worth a damn for shooting. Hopefully it's gonna blow outta here within the next few weeks as the summer comes to an end. I'm looking forward to getting out with these OTT barrels and putting them through the test. I haven't did any shooting since the Pa. bullshoot [Frown] and I need a fix [Wink]

Went out Yesterday and Shot Hunter Pistol Silly Wets in 90+ Heat and 80+ Humidity. So hot the Chickens and Turkeys were flappen their wings, must have been the reason I did not hit more of em [Wink]
Shot 22LR and 22 Hornet Great fun even with the heat.

Started to shoot the Center fire match with a frame I just bought and the darn selector lever would not turn off Rim Fire position. [Frown] Any suggestions, lucky for me I had several more frames to chose from [Big Grin]

Local gun shop has a G2 in stock for $269.
What a tough choice sell a Contender frame and get a G2 or hold on to the old style [Confused]

Mike,
If I wait for a Stainless G2 then these Contenders may be worn out, given another 2+ year wait if it was like the Blue G2!!!

I wonder if MBMCO could get a 444 rechamber done by Deer season? Still need to get that one done.

I've been busy with "Hurricane Elvis" that blew thru Memphis last month. 100 mph straight line winds tore the hell out of the city.

Since it is only a rechamber, i would think there is a good possibility. Shoot him an email...

What luck, took a look on e-bay and found a couple of hammers for the Contender just when I need to fix this new one that would not switch from rim fire to center fire.

Could it be time to two tone the frame?

Shot my 375 Bellm! [Eek!] Was expecting a jolt but didn't get one. This was a 375 Win Hunter, the break works very well when you get above 40 grains of AA2015. You could shoot this thing Bullseye style without a problem. Didn't clock it but extrapolating the 265 Lead Heads should have been above 1700. Not enough for the Mastadon at TUSCO but a whole lotta fun.

Mikie, have you found a 500 S&W chamber drawing yet? I have a barrel blank lined up if you don't.

Michael,

Took the grip off to check that one out too. Anyways gonna rechamber the XP and may be shooting it by this weekend. Found some material to carve out my first receiver also. That will be a good long project unless Jules gets involved...LOL

Mike,
I can see it is gonna become a OTTR.

You bet you will see this one.

Take care,

The 500 S&W anything is not available up here, and I am not worried about a print. If you get the ammo and the blank here you will be all set. But you are gonna have to shoot this one. [Big Grin]
