I will post it on the classifieds & maybe gunbroker later on, but I wanted to give you guys first shot at it. I have too many barrels/projects going on, so I have decided to part with this one. It began life as a 14" Bullberry bull barrel in 6.5 TCU (standard blue finish). It has been rechambered by Mike Bellm to 6.5x50R-Bellm. It easily does 2450 fps with 120 grain bullets and is capable of a bit more. My current load is 31.5 grains H4895 under a Speer 120 grain spitzer for 2455 fps.Accuracy is excellent, just as you'd expect from a Bellm rechamber. It has rub marks from the frame and a few normal handling marks. It is drilled & tapped for both sights and scope. Neither sights nor base are included. I haven't taken the base off since I got it back, and if memory serves, it has a rub mark in the blue from a previous base/owner (but the Weaver base covers it). Takes Super 14 forends (not included). I will include 20+ pieces of once-fired RWS 5.6x50R brass that's ready for re-forming along with 43 fireformed pieces of RWS brass. I am not parting with all of my brass as a carbine barrel in this chambering is definitely in my future. I'm keeping my dies also, but 6.5 TCU & .357 Mag dies are easy to come by (some Hornady dies in these calibers on e-bay right now). I will also include data from my top loads along with a copy of the load development sheet of Blaine Eddy's that Mike kindly furnished. Any questions can be answered by e-mailing me directly at btomek@gvec.net .
Price is $235 shipped priority/insured anywhere in the USA. No int'l shipments. I am really not interested in a trade as I am a bit picky in caliber preference, but if you have anything custom (be it for Encore or a bolt rifle) in 6.5x55, 6.5 Mini-Dreadnaught, 6.5-06 etc., and it has at least a 26" barrel, maybe we can work a deal for the barrel/brass plus cash. (I'd even consider certain heavy/long-barreled 7mms) And for anyone interested, you can go to gunbroker and type in my name (Bobby Tomek) to check my feedback there. By the way, money orders & cashier's cks. are preferred; personal checks are fine but may be held to clear.
