Gents,
Awhile back I bought a copy of the software put together by Lee Precision. I had been holding back
a review pending time for bugs ect. to show.
I am thoroughly pleased at this point and for less than sixteen bucks an excellent value.
I can keep track of firearms, pet loads, recoil generated my my guns, ballistics, and it includes manuals by accurate, alliant, imr,vv and hodgdon.
As keeping track of my guns has always been a chore for me I think I have found the answer. Now I can keep track of a petload for a specific gun, when I bought it and how much I spent, add in the cost of scopes.ect. serial #'s,model, and the list goes on...... and no crashes. It can also keep track of your guns by type,(pistol, rifle, shotgun) dollar value, make,or caliber. And it will total them also. I feel better knowing if one of my guns were to be missing I can identify it at the click of a button. Not that it will guarantee recovery, been down that road before. Anyway after a careful and thoughtful review I can recommend it without hesitation. 45nut [Razz]

I just checked Midway's web page and they have the Lee Disk for $11.79. Going to have to try one. Thanks for the heads up. [Big Grin]

45,

Is this a regular Windows type format, point and click or that DOS based thingy they had?

Regards

Gents,
This is a Windows style program, very easy to play with. It would seem very "user-friendly".
The reloading manuals are all very recent and are in a PDF format,,"ala' adobe acrobat" very easy also. I am not a Lee empoyee but I do endorse products like Lee's that are well thought out and executed....similar to the dies they offer,it does what I ask without having to pay for a name only. I purchased a Winchester 1886 in 38-56,rcbs dies were out of line at over 40 bucks when lee's could be had for 20. And rcbs figures on selling form dies for over $400 . I used the Lee dies for forming 45-70 brass and they worked just fine. Don't get me wrong I like rcbs dies and accesories just fine and own plenty, but jeez.gimme a break ! 45nut
