Looks kind of funny without a forearm or any way to attach one.........it would be fun though!

Nice big suppressor which is in effect THE forend.

Never saw anything based on the Contender before like this.

Saw one on an Enfield rifle though chambered to 45 ACP.

That is the first AWC integral suppressor i have ever seen on a Contender barrel. I am certain that they are using a similar method on it as the Amphibian. The barrel is shortened and ported to reduce velocity to a subsonic level. This makes for a VERY quiet shooter and accuracy is quite acceptable. The last Amphibian i test fired utilized their new (new at the time) wavy baffle technology and it was still very accurate.

Too bad on the Transfer Tax and local LE sign off! [Frown]

....and the hinge pin is held in with what.....duct tape??????

I can't see the barrel/suppressor functioning as the forearm..........

It has the Bellm oversized hinge pin of course! [Wink] That way it cannot be removed with anything short of a jack hammer. [Big Grin]
