I have a blued Super 14" 357 Herrett Contender barrel for trade. Has adjustable rear site and front site. Usual frame marks, and slight rubbing at the muzzle and where the forend touches. I am interested in all sorts of things for trade - Looking for a 3" adjustable sighted S&W model 60 357magnum or 38spl that I would pay the difference on, for that matter I like S&W revolvers and Pistols, but ONLY with adjustable rear sights, and again, we can negotiate the difference. Also looking for interesting Contender or Encore barrels, Target scopes, etc. Make an offer E-mail me at starivout@aol.com [ 03-22-2003, 21:17: Message edited by: Sean VHA #60013 ]

Sean, if the .35 is a 6-groove barrel, it is a prime candidate for rechambering. The 8-groove barrels are ok, but the 6-groove barrels are primo. They run closer to true .358" groove diameter, and the quality internally is nearly always better..... unless due to age and use a 6-groove barrel has pitting or shows signs of abuse that cannot be cleaned up by rechambering or recrowning. You might post what the rifling configuration is...... and double the price????? Mike
