Hey Shooters,

I have seen quite a bit of conversation here about the barrel cleaner - Wipe-Out. Well, since I do quite a bit of shooting and strongly feel a clean barrel is one of the key ingredients needed for accuracy, had thought I'd try Wipe-Out.

So, the first week of November I emailed the company and placed an order giving my credit card number for payment.
* Three weeks went by and no Wipe-Out.
* Then suddenly I got an email saying they were sorry the order hadn't been processed, but were doing it that day and just to make sure they could process my credit card they would like to have my phone number.
* Strange request, but OK, so by immediate reply I sent my phone number.
* The next day I got a telephone call saying they were sending my order out that day (11/19/02).
* Time went by and no Wipe-Out.
* Then on 11/30/02 I emailed to inquire about what had happened.
* No reply
* Today, I sent another email asking if they intened to fill my order.
* Guess what - I just got a returned email message saying there was no such email address.

It looks like Wipe-Out has been wiped out. So far I don't know if they charged my credit card as my statement hasn't come in yet.

Anyone know anything about those folks?

Sorry to hear that you are having so much trouble. Due to the glowing reports I heard here and on other boards, I ordered a half a dozen cans a couple of months ago.

I join the voices who think this product is fantastic. I had absolutely no problems with my order and they got it out in a timely manner.

FYI:Contacted Terry at Wipe-Out today. The company is alive and well but Terry himself has had some medical problems and admits to being behind on orders and correspondence.

I called the phone number on the can (785-883-4444) and got right to Terry. Guy is a wealth of information.

Supposedly 4 cans are on their way to me as I write this.

If any of you are in a hurry for it. We've got about 12 cans in the shop right now. I'll have to check on the price, but I think it would be close to $11 a can.

I also have been waiting for over a month for my wipeout order. I talked to Terry over a month ago, and the guy is a wealth of information. So far as I know, my CC hasn't been charged, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. I can't wait to try this stuff.

Hey guys, Don't know what all's going on at the "Wipe-Out" company, but anyone wants a can of "Wipe-Out" RIGHT NOW, I'd send an order to KTS or VVCG. I sent KTS an order by e-mail/pay pal and had the can in only a few days. Plus, his price is only $11, including shipping, as copared to $10.99 plus extra for shipping w/ the "Wipe-Out" company. From the dealing's I've had w/ VVCG, I bet they'd be prompt, as well. Gary T.

I am lookin forward to givin it a shot. I have read and heard nuttin but great results from the stuff....

I bought two cans from Wes (he got it out to me right away) and shot all the barrels full of it twice.

Some really did turn the foam and patch blue.

For someone lazy like me it is great stuff because of the statement, Fill the barrel with foam and walk away." I like that part.

I think the nunber of barrels that can be cleaned per can is optimistic, but it does work well so it is worth it.

IF I can find a supplier, I will continue to use it occasionally the rest of the time I'll be using my trsty Ed's Red formulation.

Will mosey over to Midway and see if they have it.
May have to mention it to Mid South Shooters Supply when I order this week!

The saga of Wipe-Out continues. Recall the first post on this subject was re an order for a can of Wipe-Out so I could try it out? Well, after hearing they are still in business, I tried one last time via email to get them to fill my order for a can of the stuff. That is "a can" (as in ONE can). Well, today my order arrived. GOOD GRIEF, THEY SENT 6 CANS, AND CHARGED ME FOR ALL SIX OF COURSE. I SURE HOPE THAT IS GOOD STUFF.

So if you order any from them really make sure your order is for exactly what you want to get. It might even be worthwhile to repeat just how many cans you do want. On second thought that might trigger two orders.

But anyway, it looks like I get to try this stuff.
