Mike. Have not made up my mind yet. Was going to have my 10" 44 Mag barrel rechambered to 445SM but I checked two places and they would not do it. So looking for other options. By the time I buy a used barrel and pay to have it rechambered I would be in the range of some custom barrels. What is a 414SM? Lone Hunter

LH, I wonder why they wouldn't rechamber it to 445SM. I would think that VVCG,SSK or even TC would do that job. It's offered by TC for the contender in there list of calibers.

Jules, one said it is hard to get a good clean chamber going from 44 mag to 445SM. Other said cases and load data varied alot and could cause problems. Lone Hunter

Who does a 41/445 barrel or rechamber besides Reeder? I think the cartridge has a lot of merit. [ 02-06-2003, 21:09: Message edited by: Cokdnloded ]
