I'd love to see that list posted.....I didn't know Dave had a "chambered" inventory. I have a barrel ordered from him right now but would still like to see what is on the list that I can't live without...

CBJ No Secret. Just thought I'd ask since they dont belong to me. He said no problem this a.m. and I emailed the files to both Steve1bub and Mikemag this a.m. If you and I were trading correspondence regarding selling your inventory of small animal parts wouldnt you want me to ask your permission before I posted it up on the www somewhere? I dont know maybe it was the way I was brought up or something. Dave

well, where's the list of barrels? I emailed Dave the second I saw that there was an "in inventory" list. No reply yet. Can someone post the list...........please? T.D.
Thanks, Steve Sorry about the .pdf s but I didnt know how you wanted them. You watch... If DVH gets tied up selling these somebody with a barrel on order is going to bitch at us for holding him up.... Dave

Jules- I have AR -- even reinstalled just in case -- but still, for whatever reason, cannot open those files. I'm not sure why the compatibility issue exists, but I sure want to see those lists... Thanks, Bobby

Jules, BTW there is part of a second page to the Contender list. Pick a few out and call em. OK what in the hell is a 375 Jurras? I apologize in advance to everybody's children and wives for making their Christmas a little less special....unless of course there will be a new barrel under the tree for THEM and not DAD. Dave

I noticed he is listing a 7mm Krag barrel. I had one of these a few years ago I bought on Ebay. It was neat, but I was basically working without any load data on it. Tried a few loads and got decent accuracy and velocity with 140 grain Speers and didn't blow up myself or the gun!
I ended up selling it and bought a 30 Herrett barrel that Mike B rechambered to 308 Bellm. No regrets, but the 7mm Krag was kinda cool. Thought it might be one of a kind, but I guess DVH is doing them. Will have to ask him about the load data.

Headstamp, I'm guessing is was improved. Most of the taper was taken out and the shoulder was moved forward a bit. How's that for specifics?
It was rechambered by a smith in Arizona. I asked the guy I bought it from to ask the smith for loading data. Found out the smith died in the desert somehow and never got the data. I liked having the unusual chambering, but I like my 308 Bellm a lot more. Sure more comforting to have the data that Don Sherer (sp?) developed.
