I just bought a 15" factory, blued .500S&W encore barrel from Midway for $198. They called it "inventory reduction"

I have a 15" 500 S&W barrel also. It's awesome with bullets from 350 to 700 grains. It's a real stopper.

I had http://www.probed2000.com install one of their muzzle brakes on my 15" Encore 30-06 barrel tamed it down to a comfortable shooting level.

Here's some of what I feed my S&W 500's. They're all different and they weigh from 223gr to 700gr.
