I recently bought a 10" round 221 Rem with a M8 2X in Burris base and rings. Well, when I got it, it turned out to be a M8 2X IER. The eye relief seems ok with a 2-hand hold and Leupold says this scope's paralax is set at 150 yards so I think it will be pretty good. I will probably mount it on my 10" 6.5 TCU and move the 4X M8 to the 221. Has anyone else tried a scout scope on a contender hangun?

I, like you, obtained one not knowing that it was Leupold's scout scope. The scope worked great although eye relief was a lil short for my longer arms. If the eye relief works for you then it shouldnt be a problem otherwise.....
