I think maybe that is the one I have seen floating around. As to the new in the box............. new in the box and fired or new in the box unfired. I have found that the play on words can be misleading at times.
All the same there were a few of the 10.5" length made. Why, I have no idea as an IHMSA gun it would not be able to go in to the production catagories as it is a bolt gun.

Do "I" think that is too much for the XP? Well, uh, yes. I am going to say a real nice factory chambered XP, fired in the box,<read> 90+%, around $500, tax shipping and the whole ball of wax. The XP's are a darn nice piece of equipment. I myself have 3 at the moment and would like 1 more with a large bolt face, just to have, "in case" I need it.
IMHO, the gun is priced for what a used custom with a good barrel and some extras could be had for.
Keep looking though don't give up, take it from several guys here and else where, if you don't have one, YOU NEED ONE . Besides you would always wonder any way, hint, hint .
