HEY GUY'S AND GAL'S:

MY ENCORE BARREL FROM SSK IN416 REM MAG THAT I GOT ON EBAY IS ON THE WAY BACK TO SSK FOR A FACE LIFT.HAVE THE SUPER BRAKE AND TSOB INSTALLED ALONG WITH HAVING IT CHROMED.

PLUS MY SSK XP-100 375/284 IS HAVING SOME MAJOR WORK DONE ALSO.REBARRELING TO A .510X 460 WEATHERBY I TALKED TO HIM ABOUT THE 2.5 CASE AND HE SAID HE THOUGHT THE 2 3/4 CASE HAD LESS RECOIL SO WE WILL SEE.

OK SO WHEN DOES THIS ADDICTION STOP.I THINK I NEED REHAB.

Handcannon,

My friend, I think you are a bit to ballzy for my blood.

As you know, I like big single shots as much as the next but a full length 460 opened up to .510", you better just have a custom metal stock made for that thing and have it welded to the action because I don't see a would or composite stock taking the strain long.

Scary thing is that the .510" bore is pretty damn efficient even out of a 15" pipe, let me know how she shoots, but thats as close as I want to get to that beast, Well, I probably would have to give the trigger a pull just to see what it was like once or twice.

Wanted to give you an update on teh shop, got the slab poured and walls up, the damn truss company is slowing us down, said they could be here end of next week.

Got all the forms for the loan for all of the machines, will take that in to the bank on Monday. Already have the lathe, got a hell of a deal on a JET 14x40 big spindle boar precision lathe.

Its bigger then I really need but with a 3 1/8" spindle bore, working with the big 50 BMG barrels and actions will be a snap.

Still looking at a late September/ early October start up date but this is looking more optomistic all the time.

Hell a little 375 RUM will be the baby of the bunch by the time I get up and running.

Anyway, just though I would catch you up on the shop status.

Good Shooting!!

Handcannons,

Ya going to put wheels on the XP artillery piece? When you get it back, would love to see pics of it in action (re. full recoil). And people out here call me crazy for my 45-70 contender pistol. To yours, mine is just a mouse gun. [Big Grin]
