This is a SS 15" full bull contender barrel witch I mounted a Bushnell Elite 3200 2x6x32 on {Great scope, but the eye relief is 20" and that is to long for me} in a Leupold DD mount and rings. TC grip and a VVCG target style forend with hanger bar.
I shot a total of 125 rounds with the first 50 being barrel brake in.
Temp was around 50 with no wind at all. Perfict day for shootin.
I sighted in at 25yds. My first 2 shots was 1" low and 1" to the left of the bull and touching. I figured that was close enough to move the target stand to 50 and finish the sight in and barrel brake in. After adjusting the scope at 50 my 1st 5 shots came in at 1-1/2" with a Sierra 250 JFP at 1638fps with the first shot going 1" high and the other 4 were 3/4". After that I used some 300gr Speer at 1350fps to finish barrel brake in. Five shot groups were not that good with this load. 1-1/2" at best, but these were not worked up loads. Brake in was complete.
I moved the target stand to 75yds and that's where it stayed for the rest of todays shooting.

Sierra 270 Gold Dot with 20.5gr IMR 4227 gave me a 3/4" group at 1277fps average for 5 shots.

All the next loads were 5 shots each with 23.5grs of 296 and 240gr bullets and an average fps for 5 shots as with all loads.
Hornady XTP was 1" at 1644fps
Sierra JHC was 3/4" at 1664fps
Speer Mag HP was 1-1/8" at 1594fps.

One 5 shot group with 16.5grs of Blue Dot behind a Hornady 200gr HP-XTP at 1692fps was 1".
I had one load of 24.8grs of N110 behind a Speer 200gr Mag HP at 1876fps that gave me a 5/8" five shot group.
My best group of the day was with 22.3grs of IMR4227 behind a Nosler 200gr JHP that came in at a tad over 1/4" for 5 shots. That was my best group with a 44mag ever.
I think this barrel is gonna be a great shooter. The next time i'll work with one bullet and one powder at a time.

Jules that is GREAT accuracy from a 200 gr bullet!
Most 44 group better with the 240 and 300.
That is a sweet barrel!
