My copy of Ken Waters "Pet loads" is an older one and doesn't have any pet loads for the 357 Maximum in it. Does anyone know if Ken ever did a Pet loads report on the Max? If so, does anyone have a copy?
I really like Ken's approach to the pet load series.

thanks in advance,
Graycg

I like 22 grains of H4227 with a 180 bullet....also, 20 grs of H110 with a 200 has proven accurate.

Eugene,

The most accurate load I fired in that barrel was the 200 gr cast bullet I provided, and a compressed load of RL-7, they all went into one hole @ 50 yds, and it is a mild load, clocking barely over 1500 fps. I'll have to check my notes to see exactly what the charge was.

I also loaded up various plinker loads with 158 gr cast over mild charges of Red dot and Unique, but none of them was a standout. I'll have to check my notes on them as well.
