Anyone tried K-G Gunkote on your TC.

Yes, had it professionally applied to a Contender barrel and was not very impressed with it at all.

Had chipping near the ports of the brake and at the muzzle edges early on.

Also, cleaning solvent tended to attack it in the form of "black" coming off on the rag after a wipe down.

Had it blasted off and hard chromed instead.

Just my own personal experience with it and your milage may vary.

I'd rather have a nice matte blue job over it any day.
