I was reading a story over in Handgunhunting.com and the fellow said he found that this was THE deer bullet in the 357 Herrett.

Wonder what others here could add to that?

I have 3 friends that was glad I got these bullets that use them for Deer,Boar,and Bear 2 of them use 357 Herrett and the other 1 uses a 358 JDJ The ones in the Herrett are going about 2175fps and the 358 JDJ is pushing them at 2700fps. This Bullet is a lot better then a pistol bullet. You can only drive a pistol bullet so fast be for it blowsup. I have a Savage Muzzle loader and was shoting 45 Cal 300gr Hornady pistol bullets out of till I shoot a deer last year with it and the bullet blowup. It told me that pistol bullets are not made to be shot 2562 fps so I now use a 458 Cal 300gr PSP Barnes 45/70 bullets and I think they will do the job I will see this year when I deer hunt with it
