Getting my Competitor ready for an antelope hunt and did something I've never done before......I had a Harris bipod in the cabinet and thought, what the heck, I'll try it......got it out, put it on and was amazed at how steady the set-up is! It is not anywhere near as easy to carry as the bare pistol and my shooting sticks, but it is definitely more stable.....I think I'll do some shooting with it attached and see how it does!

Now if I can just figure out how to get it in the holster!!!

I have used the Harris bi-pod more often for antelope than the shooting sticks, but one year the shooting sticks got the nod where the bi-pod wasn't suited for the task at hand. So I carry the next size above the BR model which swivels and a set of shooting sticks that are high enough to sit and shoot. Best of both worlds?
