Bob, I like Winchester 748 or Hodgdon H335 for the .223. Check either manufacturer's website for charge weights. I've never had a load of either shoot poorly for me. I think around 25 grains of H335 under a 55 grain projectile is what I use most commonly and it works great for me. | |||

One of my favorites from years ago was Hornady 60gr v-max over H4895. I cant recall the exact charge weight but the load was very accurate. Why is violence so widely condemned when it is such a huge part of our cultural heritage? | |||
