...about the Elite 3200 scopes. I gave mine (3-9x40) that I got from Jeff (jsh) a good workout, including some very late evening comparisons. It is certainly ahead of the Leupold VX-1 and older Vari-IIs and pretty close to the Monarch in terms of light transmission. It's not quite a Monarch but not far behind, either.

I had mounted it on my 7mm Bullberry carbine and got precise repetition and very good target acquisition/resolution. I may just have to get another someday, and this will be with the fast-focus eyepiece, a feature that has to make the 3200 even better.

Thanks for turning me on to this scope, Jules. I am impressed by what I have seen so far...

Jeff-
I think I am going to leave it on the 7mm Bullberry Contender carbine. It looks nice on there, and the last group I fired with it went 0.920" for 3 shots at 200 yards.

I may indeed try it on hogs, though I really like the 6.5x55 or 6.5-06 for such. But I am itching to bag something else with the Bullberry since I've put this scope on it.

I may try to post that picture tonight. The webhost (imagestation.com) I used wasn't working the last few times I tried it. Who are you guys using?
