Can anyone tell me who has the best price for T/C contender pistol barrels?

I will be purchasing a T/C Contender 12" 357 Mag.

Midway list one for around $215, can I do better on a new barrel or should I be patient and look at the gun show for a used barrel.

This will be the one I have rechambered to a 357 Maximum later.

Have you tried Midsouth, ED's T/Cs, M&M Trading Post, TJ General Store, or Contender Cache? All have websites. Sean

For that kind of money, you could have Mike at OTT make a barrel for you.

You would be laying out another 60-75 bucks to rechamber it anyway. You'd be in it 300+ after that.

Mike will make you one for about $250. Or, if you supply your own blank, $175.

Send him an e-mail with your wants and see what he can do for you.

I've got a 10" tube that I had rechambered to Max but I aquired it quite cheap from the start so it was worth reaming out.
