I know this is of topic, but it is for loading the Contender! So.... What case lube are you guys using? I'm using that thick, sticky RCBS stuff. Is there anything better to be using?
Thanks,

Bob

I didn't have much luck with that stuff. I've been using all different varierties of the spray lubes both Aresol & pump. They work good & clean easily. [Smile]

The Lee cream lube is what I use. Put a little dap on your finger and swirl a very thin layer on each case. Takes a few mintes to do a batch of brass. The cream dries quickly and leaves a thin white film that can be wiped off with a rag after resizing. No oily mess. One tube will last a long time.

I use imperial die sizing lube available from Redding, harder lube your rub out of can and onto brass with fingers, very good stuff, and the best I've found for case forming, no dent's etc.

My opinion only,

Bob,
I went to the LEE sizing paste and won't use anything else now. I got a couple tubes a while back, e-mail me your address and I'll give you one.
A tube last aloooong time and there is no since in me having two of them.

Lee for me to!

I put a dab on a q-tip to do the inside of necks, and only put it on the body, not the neck or shoulder, as you don't need it, and will end up getting dings on the shoulder.

It is a good idea to let it dry a bit, as you can leave moisture in your sizer and cause rust.

It cleans of with a quick wipe of a shop rag or paper towel.

I use imperial die sizing wax most of the time. I've also used a mix of lanolin/alcohol.
