Two months ago I was shooting my 15" 264 win mag encore and cracked the forend. I called VVC about replacing the laminate forend for this heavy kicker. I didn't kick at paying for a new one since the last one I had made so many changes to and maybe I had some part in the failure of the first forend. Well I first asked about deleivery time because of opening deer season and they said no problem. I said are you sure I mean really sure. Yes. Well as time went on I started getting nervous so I called it is almost done then it is done and I don't know why it has been mailed then three days ago called again.
It is still on the bench. Dave said it will be there (maine) for deer season well overnight deleivery it made it!
It will not be going out in the morning but this week it will get checked out and used for the last three weeks of the season.

PS: ordered it unfinished and they finished it for me also for utilty grade wow! [Big Grin] [Big Grin] [Big Grin]

One can only grin from ear to ear with Virgin Valley's service! I was running out of time so I ordered a 338-06 barrel (VVCG's) from Midway. They carry limited runs of some fun stuff. Well, it arrived as a 338-06 IMP. I promptly sent it back and then called VVCGs to ask Dave if he could get one done in time for me to take to MN for deer hunting. My dad wants to try an Encore, finally at age 50 I had my chance to hook him! Problem was, I was only giving them 10 days to finish it and ship it to me. THE Virgin Valley TEAM pulled through!!!! I'll have it in hand on Monday.

On an earlier occassion I split a forend on my 458Win Mag pistol. Sent it in and they had it repaired and back at no charge with 2 weeks. There are some other good barrel makers/gun shops but Virgin Valley is a GREAT ONE!!!!
