From what I understand it's a single-shot built on an AR-15. http://www.serveroptions.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=15;t=003437

Being a 50 BMG shooter myself, I can say that while this rifle may and probably does shoot very well, there are much better ways to go if you want a 50 BMG rifle. This rifle is either made by Watson's Weapons or is a copy of their design. The price the fella gave for this rifle is a bit high as you can get a new complete rifle of this kind for $1595 or just the upper to fit your lower for $1249. The scope that he is selling with the rifle is not a 50 BMG scope and would certainly need to be replaced if any serious shooting is to be done. Also is the origin of the military ammo is not known, I would not shoot it. It could and probably does have corrosive primers and would be very tough on a fine barrel unless cleaned right after shooting. If someone is looking for a custom 50 BMG upper for a 50 BMG, I would have to recommend the Ferret50 by Spider Arms. This is the same basic set up except that it has a more conventional turn bolt action and in my mind is a much better looking set up, not to mention, ten times as fast to opperate in the field. A 36" Ferret50 runs $1650 so it is a bit pricier then the other but its usefulness in the field and user friendliness will make this small extra price worth it. Both of these set ups are for those who want to get into the 50 BMG rifle world as easily and cheaply as possible. I will not say these rifles will not shoot accurately but if your serious about the 50 BMG and match grade accuracy at 1000 yards, you will need to forget about cutting corners and pinching pennies. Good Shooting!!! 50
