the only reload i've tried so far is 40.0gr of h4895 with 120gr nosler bt. it's a light load but shoots great and i killed a small button buck at 250 yards this past fall. low recoil ,and i would guess it approximates 7-30 waters performance. i don't have a chronograph to confirm that though.

I used to have a 14 inch 7-08 and used 40.0 of H-4895 with a 140 grain NBT--2540 f.p.s. was the MV.
You can load it warmer than this (At least in my XP-100 you could), but it was the most accurate load.
